Opening for a full-time International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to work in a dynamic, fast-growing breastfeeding clinic. Position entails providing breastfeeding support and education to families in both the outpatient and inpatient setting, telephone triage and teaching classes.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Performs initial and on-going assessments of the patient’s lactation goals and issues.
- Develops evidence-based feeding plans that address the mother and infant’s feeding issues.
- Maintains knowledge of current lactation theories and research.
- Communicates written plan of care to client’s health care provider.
- Plans, assists with, teaches and/or evaluates classes for expectant and new breastfeeding mothers.
- Promotes and facilitates learning for staff and patients.
- Maintains the highest professional standards with staff, physicians and patients.
- Selects appropriate breastfeeding related supplies for retail sale and for rental.
- Plans, organizes and delivers lactation management services to all breastfeeding patients.
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Is timely to work and adheres to scheduling protocols, absenteeism and tardiness as outlined in Employee Manual.
- Conducts follow-up phone calls, prospecting phone calls to both clients and healthcare professionals.
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
- Completes work in a timely fashion.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Current IBCLC certification
- Current BLS certification
- Must carry malpractice insurance
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work without supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), Google Drive
- Able to work in a team environment

Location: Cedar Park, TX
Opening for a full-time Medical Billing Specialist-Lead to work in a dynamic, fast-growing breastfeeding clinic. Position entails submitting claims, reconsiderations and appeals as well as facilitating the clinic to improve billing practices, establishing and maintaining credentialing with insurance providers, and assisting clients with billing questions and needs. Monday – Friday; flexible hours, 40 hours per week.
REQUIREMENTS
- 40 hours per week
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical billing
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and HCPCS
- Non-remote position
- Drug test and background check upon hire
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Prioritize customer service and consistent communication with insurance companies, agency partners, and internal departments.
- This position will assist the Medical Billing Manager to oversee all billing, patient and insurance collections.
- Ensure billing and coding for all services provided is accurate, timely, and fully documented.
- Process billing through various insurance companies and private pay, while maintaining standard operating procedures.
- Continuously review, verify and document pre-authorizations, pre-certifications and/or referrals necessary for payment of claims.
- Perform insurance verifications and billing research with clear and consistent communication back to clients.
- Work with insurance companies to ensure proper reimbursement for services.
- Prepare reports and invoices to assist with monthly client billing
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of client invoices.
- Assist clients with billing inquiries and reply in a timely manner.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Assist with training of new employees in the billing department.
- Solutions oriented and can work independently.
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Collaborate with Billing Manager on various departmental projects.
- Serve as a lead to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.
- Other duties as assigned.
CERTIFICATIONS
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Physical and emotional health sufficient to meet the criteria for the annual physical examination and specific job demands which are inclusive of but not limited to: standing, walking, bending, lifting equipment, typing, prospecting via phone and in-person.
PAY & BENEFITS
- Hourly Rate: $18
- Overtime paid at Time & 1/2
- 3 weeks paid vacation per year (120 hours per year) when working 40 hours per week.
