How Pregnant or Breastfeeding Women Can Participate in COVID-19 Research

page updated 8/19/2021

If you've found yourself frustrated with the lack of research on pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, here's your chance to help! We've compiled a list of registries across the U.S.

You don't have to be local to participate. MotherToBaby has opportunities to send in milk samples from wherever you are, and most of the others are surveys. Click through to each site for more information. We will continue to update this page as we hear of more research opportunities become available.

COVID Maternal Vaccine Study

MotherToBaby Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Studies

“Your participation in MotherToBaby Pregnancy Studies will help us advance our understanding of pregnancy health and a baby’s development and how they may be impacted by a woman’s health condition, medications she takes, or vaccines she receives. Our studies are observational, which means you will never be asked to take any medications or vaccines or change any part of your health routine.”

MommysMilk is currently collecting breast milk samples from women who received the COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy and are now breastfeeding. Contact or call 858-246-1713 for more information and to see if you're eligible to participate.
